FYI to those who have elementary school age children. A vote is coming up to approve changing the traditional school for Breckenridge to Weatherstone Elementary, which is over off Maynard Rd. past White Tiger. Not exactly close to our neighborhood. April 6th is the vote, so show up and voice your opinion!
April 1, 2010 - At its March 31 work session, the Board of Education agreed to some changes to the school system three-year assignment plan that will formally be voted on by the board at its April 6 meeting.
The changes include:
- Assign Nodes 375.0, 376.0, 377.1, 377.2, 377.3, 377.4, 628.1, 628.2 to Weatherstone Elementary School as their traditional calendar option beginning 2010-11.

We will have a petition for Breckenridge residents to sign tomorrow morning, afternoon and evening at the front entrance. You can also come to the club house at 7 p.m. to sign the petition as well.
